I have been programming for a long time, since 1993, if I am correct. Back then, my formal programming courses were in Pascal and Fortran. I also took the initiative to enroll in a couple of elective classes in C and C++ in order to have an edge. Well, it seems like I am always behind the curve and after more than a decade chasing a moving target, I finally came across a website detailing the popularity of programming languages at any given time period.
